Soulful Heart Savers is the community preparedness initiative and training team of Determined 2B Present, Inc. We exist to empower individuals and communities to respond confidently during medical emergencies by building lifesaving skills, preparedness knowledge, and trust through action.

Our work centers on preparedness that is accessible, culturally grounded, and designed to meet people where they are, ensuring that lifesaving response is not limited by access, familiarity, or confidence. 

The name Soulful Heart Savers reflects both the humanity and urgency of our work. “Soulful” represents compassion, culture, and connection. “Heart Savers” reflects our focus on lifesaving action, particularly in moments when seconds matter.

Together, the name speaks to preparedness that honors people, communities, and lived experience while equipping individuals with the skills to act decisively in emergencies. 

Medical emergencies happen everywhere, and preparedness should not depend on geography, resources, or circumstance. Soulful Heart Savers was created with a national vision to ensure that lifesaving knowledge and response skills reach communities across the country.

Our approach recognizes that scalable preparedness requires partnerships, consistency, and community trust. By expanding this work nationally, we aim to strengthen readiness at a broader level while maintaining a community-centered foundation. 

Communities of color are often underserved in emergency preparedness education despite facing higher risks associated with chronic health conditions and limited access to training. Soulful Heart Savers focuses intentionally on expanding preparedness within these communities to help close gaps in knowledge, confidence, 

Our work is grounded in equity, respect, and the belief that everyone deserves the ability to act when emergencies occur. 

Our vision is to equip one million people with lifesaving preparedness skills through training, outreach, and community-based initiatives. This vision is not a promise of immediacy, commitment to direction, growth, and sustained impact.

Preparedness at this scale requires collaboration, trust and shared responsibility. 

Soulful Heart Savers CPR Life Saving Day is a national preparedness initiative designed to bring lifesaving training and awareness directly into communities through coordinated events and partnerships. 

This initiative reflects our commitment to preparedness at scale and community-wide impact while reinforcing the importance of readiness, confidence, and action during medical emergencies. 

The success and growth depend on collaboration and shared commitment. Support from participants, sponsors, grant partners, and community organizations allows us to expand access to training, develop initiatives, and reach communities with preparedness education.
