Yes. Determined 2B Present, Inc. (D2BP) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Founded in March 2016, our headquarters is located in Kennesaw, Georgia. Community CPR Connection operates as a program under Determined 2B Present, Inc.
Our mission is driven by a deep commitment to emergency preparedness and community safety. We work to improve non-emergency medical outcomes by providing essential training, strengthening prevention efforts, and supporting systems that improve access to lifesaving skills and healthcare readiness.
Our primary goal is to ensure that underserved communities are prepared to respond to medical emergencies through CPR and first aid training. We invite individuals and families to become CPR Confident, empowering them with skills that can save lives and strengthen community resilience.
Donations support free and low-cost CPR and first aid training for children and individuals in underserved schools and communities. Contributions also help us expand educational opportunities and expose participants to potential careers in healthcare and emergency response.
Volunteers are essential to our mission. We welcome individuals who are passionate about service, education, and community impact.
“Soulful Heart Savers” represents our instructors and volunteers who bring passion, compassion, and cultural awareness to lifesaving education. It reflects our commitment to inclusivity, community trust, and empowering individuals to respond confidently and effectively during emergencies.
All certifications, including CPR, First Aid, BLS, Pediatric First Aid, Babysitters Training, ACLS, PALS, and PEARS, are valid for two years from the date of completion, in accordance with issuing organization guidelines.
Certification cards are issued electronically and delivered by email after successful course completion.
Pricing varies based on the certification type and course selected. We offer affordable training options nationwide, including courses through the American Heart Association and the American Red Cross.

Healthcare professionals typically require the American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers course. Non-healthcare participants should consult their employer or consider the American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course.
The recommended age for this course by The American Red Cross is 11-15 years old.
The American Red Cross recommends this course for youth ages 11 to 15.
Babysitters Training equips youth with essential skills for safely and responsibly caring for children and infants.
Program benefits include:
CPR should be stopped if the individual shows clear signs of life, such as breathing normally, moving, opening their eyes, speaking, or if trained medical professionals take over.
Both certifications are widely accepted. However, the American Heart Association is typically preferred within clinical and hospital settings, especially for advanced certifications such as ACLS and PALS.
There is no strict age requirement for CPR training. However, a minimum body weight of approximately 90 pounds is generally recommended to perform effective chest compressions.
Certification courses include formal assessment and issuance of an official certification card upon successful completion. Non-certification courses do not provide a certification card but focus on teaching fundamental CPR and emergency response skills.
Non-certification courses are ideal for individuals who want knowledge and confidence without formal documentation.
A 15-minute grace period is allowed. Participants arriving later than 15 minutes may be denied entry at the instructor’s discretion to maintain course integrity.
All courses are non-refundable. Failure to attend or cancellations result in forfeiture of payment. Participants who need to reschedule may submit a request through the Reschedule Request Form, subject to availability.
